I started photographing weddings in 2009, and like many photographers starting out, I was focused on the craft — the perfect frame, the right light, the praise of my peers. Over time, I realized there’s so much more to this work than simply making beautiful pictures.

This journey has been full of ups, downs, and constant learning. Every challenge taught me something about myself, about the people I photograph, and about what truly matters. Those lessons shaped not just my work, but the person and artist I’ve become.

Along the way, I’ve been honored to share what I’ve learned as a Profoto North America Brand Ambassador, leading workshops to inspire and guide other photographers. I’ve also had the privilege of teaching through Sony Canada, helping others discover the power of light and storytelling. These experiences deepened my own craft and gave me new ways to create images that feel alive.

What I love most about photography is the chance to connect — to see and capture the quiet, fleeting moments that say more than words ever could. The nervous breath before a vow, the glance that holds years of love, the unspoken emotions that make each story unique. These are the moments that move me.
